I'm amazed he has 21 assists this season. He's still got that greedy streak in him, although to a far lesser degree than when he was at Liverpool. There was a moment in the first half yesterday when Neymar ran across the box (and should have scored), but the ball fell to Suarez, Messi literally had an open goal in front of him and yet Suarez decided to go for goal with three defenders and the keeper to beat. If the boot was on the other foot...

In hindsight you can say it didn't matter, but the score was only 1-0 at the time.

6 Ballons for Messi

but what if he wins 7??
Suarez scored 7 goals in the 2 last months, february 14th till now, while missing a gazillion of easy tap ins and now he scored 8 in 4 days.
Cristiano must be mad.

Penaldo somewhere talking to himself : " i know why suarez is scoring these goals "

sorry for the childish naming but he earned that name lol

Kinda pointless calling him Penaldo when we've broke the record for penalties this season. It's not about the amount of penalties, more so when they're given.

Should renew with Busquets first. Even Messi should be ahead in the pecking order.

Suarez got another three years left. His renewal should be in 2017.

I had missed the game yesterday but was so happy to see us have joy in the match. Was only able to watch highlights but still... Luis Suarez is a complete monster.

What I like the most from his last game are not 4 goals but that he let Neymar take the last penalty. I can't imagine Cristiano ever do that.

He didn't let Neymar do anything. I don't know which one of the front three makes the decisions (more Messi I think), but Neymar was struggling so bad he should have taken the 2nd pen. The 1st you can understand for Suarez pichichi, but 2nd should have been Neymar.

More worryingly Messi is increasingly passing them up. He cannot keep bottling them.

Messi isnt bottling the pens.

He is giving them to Suarez and Ney for different reasons.

If Barca get a high pressure pen Messi will be on it 100%

How is Messi still bottling them? Because Suarez has Texas best chance for Pichichi and Neymar needs an injection of confidence?

He's started doing it since last season, and it's at a point now where when a pen is given, he'll likely pass them up.

I believe a pen should always be taken by your best pen taker, this rotational BS isn't helping, the record proves it.
