He's started doing it since last season, and it's at a point now where when a pen is given, he'll likely pass them up.

I believe a pen should always be taken by your best pen taker, this rotational BS isn't helping, the record proves it.

I don't know about that, I'm usually not keen on someone taking 2 penalties in one match, let alone 3. And it's hard to know just who is our best penalty taker anyway. I'd still probably want Messi, but he doesn't exactly fill you with confidence either.

You might be right that Messi should be on them all but it is not for the reason you said.

He is not bottling them.

Boy he can miss these sitters. I don't even get excited anymore when I see him alone in front of the goal.

Awful again. Messi's giving him all these chances on a plate but he's playing like a pub player with his touch and even some of his finishing and brainless offsides.

Sure, Suárez could've scored 1-2 more goals...

But at end of the day, we won against Betis and Suárez name is on the scoreboard at least.

People will forget his misses sooner or later anyway.

He was really awful, no two ways about it. Movement was bad and his end product worse. Just happy he killed it off, though.
