System is fucked up anyhow. It's only since last year (or the one before that ?) that L1 goals count for 1.5 as it slipped out of 5th place. But there is literally nothing between the french, portuguese and russian league, so really it'd be better if either the top 7 counted for 2, or top four.

Also keep in mind that there is only a weak correlation between goals scored and league strength

That I can agree with, Ligue 1 shouldn't be that inferior to Portuguese league.

Basically points should be correlated to the league's UEFA points.

Loved Suarez even before I heard that he blocked off the tunnel and offered to fight all of the filthy Espanyol team as he was angry with them kicking us all over the pitch ...

Concerning Pichichi, Zidane comment about Ronaldo:

"Knowing him, he'll keep fighting until the end. Not for the Pichichi, but because he wants to score in every game, to score more and more."

These Spanish refs are so good man. How many times in the last month has Suarez pushed and fouled somebody before scoring a goal? Jesus...

Much less than he gets kicked in the box with no punishment at all. Happens almost every match, seen Pau Lopez?

I love how now the discussion about goal-obsession revolves around Cristiano Ronaldo and Suarez, and not Messi anymore. Finally!
Because Messi is so much beyond them both as a football player that measuring his qualities only by goals has always been an insult to him in my eyes.

PSG have 2 games left

It will be a farce of IBRA ends up top scorer and Suarez gets the boot.

It's the opposite actually: the farce would be that a flat track bully like Ibrahimovic, who moreover plays in an amateur league, would win it over Suarez.
