Perhaps that is because of his off field issues who knows but all I can say is that I am not that gutted, not devastated or inconsolate at his departure. I'm not even disappointed. And how is it not a waste to take the best goalscorer of all time and move him further away from the goal and behind a primary striker? The only logical thing to do is keep Messi as false 9 and use Suarez on the right, with him cutting inside, but I don't think Suarez can handle the responsibility that comes with that role.
