please what, i've arleady said the gif shows us nothing!

Does Evra look visibly upset or not when he is shoving away Suarez's apologies with watery eyes?

He certainly does to me, and that lends weight to his claims.

watery eyes??? um no I don't see that and no he doesn't look visibly upset. What it looks like is those 2 hustling against one another. Given Evra's credibility in these kind of situations then sorry I don't believe an utter word of what he has said and thus far video evidence hasn't proved otherwise.

Until video evidence proves otherwise I will call Evra a damned liar.

And for those claiming that Evra did once made false claims in that matter:

Police investigate claims that Finnan made racist remark to Evra

A police investigation has been launched after deaf football fans complained they had lip-read Liverpool's Steve Finnan making a racist remark towards Patrice Evra of Manchester United.

The Merseyside club immediately denounced the claim as an "outrageous slur" but Greater Manchester police confirmed last night that inquiries are ongoing into allegations that the Liverpool full-back "made an offensive comment" during last month's 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford.

It is understood that the alleged remark was picked up by fans watching the game on television. Two contacted the police, as well as Manchester United, and claimed they had lip-read what the Republic of Ireland international apparently said. Police are understood to have taken statements and to be reviewing footage of the game.

The revelations drew an angry response from Anfield. "The first either the club or the player knew about this matter was through the media," a spokesman said. "There has been absolutely no contact from the Greater Manchester police. We have subsequently had a video of the match analysed by a lip-reader, who has told us there is nothing to support this outrageous slur."

The incident allegedly happened after Finnan had given away the stoppage-time free-kick on Evra that led to Rio Ferdinand heading the decisive goal. Evra, however, was unaware of any racist taunts. The Senegal-born Frenchman, a £5.5m signing from Monaco in January, has not raised any complaints although he is aware of the allegations.

United will not comment because it is a possible criminal matter.

Finnan returned to Liverpool last night after being forced out of the Republic of Ireland's squad to face Sweden in Dublin because of a neck injury. "The player vehemently denies these allegations," the Liverpool spokesman added. "He has not used any such language."

Evra's club captain Gary Neville, meanwhile, has confirmed that he will appeal against the Football Association's £5,000 fine imposed last week when the ruling body found him guilty of improper conduct after he ran 60 yards towards the Liverpool fans and kissed his badge to celebrate Ferdinand's winner in the same match.

So Evra made NOTHING up then, yet you post that article as some kind of proof that he did

Unless you suggest that Evra was the deaf lipreader that made the complaints to the police? Because Evra made no complaints about the article you suggested.

As for the Chelsea groundsman situation, they could not prove anything. But Evra flipped out suggesting something was up. F-ing immigrant is what he was called someone said. I don't know if that is what was really said, as it can't be proven, but he went beserk and had to be restrained.

This Suarez situation, Evra clearly looked distressed and like he was holding back tears as his eyes began to water up which suggests that something is up this time.

I'm talking about when he pushed Suarez's arm off him. Not the gif i just posted.

I'm curious though, what do you make of his facial expression in the picture?

Either I'm missing something here or you completely misunderstood the article

I posted the article to show that it is not true like some posters said that Evra did once made false claims. What can be misunderstood here?

Fact is evra said Suarez said this word not once but TEN times.

1) There is no video proof of this
2) Yes saying once slyly then Evra's teammates may not hear, but TEN TIMES, if this were true at least one of Evra's team mates would have heard - considering this happened in the penalty box.

So sorry I don't believe a word of what Evra is saying. They say don't cry wolf because it'll hit you on the arse and in this case because of Evra's track record and because of the aforementioned 2 points above I don't believe him.

fair enough. I thought I saw it during the game.

Either way, what does Evr'a facial expression say to you?

a man in distress, shock, upset?

Neither of those 3. His facial expression seems as if he is annoyed.......however I think that's to do with on the field matters rather than any racial abuse, because Suarez was skinning him every time.

I don't that is not a facial expression of someone who is upset. It just isn't. I am honest with myself. If ever any liverpool player was caught racially abusing someone I'd come down on them with a ton of bricks, but I don't see a man who is upset or close to tears in that picture.

What I see is a man that has been hustling all game long with Suarez and is annoyed that Suarez keeps getting the better of him.

He certainly does to me, and that lends weight to his claims.

So what if he looks upset, heres your logic:

Evra looks upset soooo he must have had something racist said to him.

Brilliant logic. :beer2:
