How can you mention Toure?

Because he is pretty awesome and scored a gazillon goals in the EPL last season despite his position?

As for the rest, judging from the pre-season matches so far, Lewa is going to have a huge impact for Bayern as he was scary good already. I'm really confident he'll do great things for us.

Ribery is already much better than the 2nd part of last season, which is not too difficult however. Will he ever be as good as in 2013? I have my doubts too. But if he can be 90% of 2013 Ribery, it should do just fine.

Robben has his best days behind him? Yeah, obviously since he was awesome for Bayern last season, especially before his injury due to that horrible foul against him in the German cup by Augsburg's keeper. Not to mention him being the best player for the Netherlands in the WC. Clearly he's over the hill... lol.

¡Gr?*cies Xavi!

He is awesome, but with that logic, you could've mentioned Lampard a few years back. Even Gerrard can be mentioned as well. As much as I love Yaya, he isn't one of the best in the world. He is in the tier just below.

I would say Neymar is easily in the top 3 of world's biggest talents. The guys who could win Ballon d'Or and stuff in 5 years or so.
But he is not better than a bunch of proven players.

Neymar's performance is unpredictable. Besides his awesome games, there are some really mediocre ones too. That's why I agree with someone above on the fact that Neymar is not in the top 5 of the world (yet).

the mediocre games came just after the 2'nd part of the season when he had to face all the problems the club had with his transfer.

Before all that bullshit he was outstanding , at least imo.

I think he had one of the best seasons of his career, and his form carried over perfectly to the WC.

He played great at the World Cup -- however, when he was marked by a competent team, he failed to replicate his performances. He looked awesome when teams gave him space, but didn't shine when he was tightly taken care of. Which sounds exactly like the Arjen Robben I know (his speed dribbling is great, second only to Messi, but he never was the kind of player who could operate in tight spaces at the highest level).

He was almost invisible in the Champions League semifinal against Madrid. Pretty good in Bundesliga I agree, but that's not saying much. To me, his best season was 2012-13, followed by 2011-12 and 2009-10 (very underrated that year). 2013-14 comes on fourth place, before 2010-11.

He had 4 good to great years and he is one of the world's best I agree. Will he continue on that path for long? I doubt it. Teams already play Bayern like they're playing Barca, and Robben won't benefit much from that tendency.

Playing better with space than without is true for any player in the history of the sport, and really has no relevance to the original point. Robben just completed one of the best season's of his career for his club, and had a great WC tournament for his country. There is really very little indication that he could have a considerably worse upcoming season than the one he just had.

Robben had one if the best seasons of his career last season. All people are saying is that he's still at his peak.

Calma, calma
I've always thought 09/10 Robben was one of the best player seasons I've seen. Brilliant goals against United and Fiorentina, also Schalke in the Cup final in extra time. Consistently threatening with dribbles, goals and assists. Granted I watched more of him in the UCL than the Bundesliga.

I don't think he will deteriorate at all this season, he looks as fit as ever and as motivated as ever.
