Since then he has learned to defend. So that is a huge plus.
I've always thought 09/10 Robben was one of the best player seasons I've seen. Brilliant goals against United and Fiorentina, also Schalke in the Cup final in extra time. Consistently threatening with dribbles, goals and assists. Granted I watched more of him in the UCL than the Bundesliga.
I don't think he will deteriorate at all this season, he looks as fit as ever and as motivated as ever.
Zlatan is soon to be 33, and he had his best season ever just now, he was amazing last season.
True. They made the CL final that season, too bad Bayern had a pretty weak defence at the time. If it wasn't for Robben in 2009-10, they would've never made the final. Hell, they were behind in the tie against Fiorentina until that Robben wondergoal, not to mention being 0-3 down against United in 30 min or so.
I also don't think he will deteriorate, but it's a lot easier to handle him now, than it was in the past. I don't think he'll be the guy to bail Bayern out when the game isn't going their way. In the past he did just that.
i'm now an official source for barcastuff, as they posted my edit
this photo is a prediction that we'll face everton in 1/8finals of Europe League
New ammunition for the UEFAlona hater faction
As uefa have nothing to do with this, CASelona would be more appropriate.
