I've always thought 09/10 Robben was one of the best player seasons I've seen. Brilliant goals against United and Fiorentina, also Schalke in the Cup final in extra time. Consistently threatening with dribbles, goals and assists. Granted I watched more of him in the UCL than the Bundesliga.

I don't think he will deteriorate at all this season, he looks as fit as ever and as motivated as ever.

True. They made the CL final that season, too bad Bayern had a pretty weak defence at the time. If it wasn't for Robben in 2009-10, they would've never made the final. Hell, they were behind in the tie against Fiorentina until that Robben wondergoal, not to mention being 0-3 down against United in 30 min or so.

I also don't think he will deteriorate, but it's a lot easier to handle him now, than it was in the past. I don't think he'll be the guy to bail Bayern out when the game isn't going their way. In the past he did just that.

Zlatan is soon to be 33, and he had his best season ever just now, he was amazing last season.

With all due respect for Ligue 1, but Zlatan basically has 2-3 (semi)tough games per season with his team. PSG's CL group was also one of the weakest. Leverkusen wasn't much of a team either. He got injured at the wrong time, but against Chelsea he didn't look good at all until he got that tear.

As long as they play Dortmund he will still be the clutch time player #1.

His ban could be a blessing in disguise. He could come in at a crucial time and we know he'l be fresh for the second half of the season. This is the time (as we all know) when we tend to crack.

Also, the team is kinda stacked on the frontline and the mid. I'm sure Deu and Pedro wouldn't mind his absence
