The question isn't just trading Suarez back for Alexis, it's considering what else could have been done. Alexis could have been kept and we could have gotten a better RB and CB. Or we could have sold Alexis and gotten a more available winger in Reus. And we'd still have money left over to strengthen the midfield.

All of that could've been done, even with Suarez signing. Just look at the price tags of Benatia and Kroos, for example. And we needed a cf too.
Zubi and co could also have sold another players Lucho wasn't counting on it, like Montoya.

If they wanted to spend like they said they would then the midfield and defence could have been strenghtened even with Suarez' signing.

They are just way too retarded to make any good transfers unless it's a high profile one.

With regards to how we are currently playing, it's almost back to Messidependecia again. Also, the majority of us expected his (Messi's) goal stats to drop this season and his assist count to rise but it hasn't happened yet :p

Messi had to keep dropping back to the midfield to get the ball though, since our midfield has been non-existent. It's hard to get assists when you are dropping back to half field and attempting to START an attack. There is nothing wrong with our attack, it's incredible- even with Suarez not putting them in the back of the net. We have Iniesta, Rakitic and a declining Xavi who can still put in a good performance here and there. Busquest has been an automatic starter and has looked worse every year, he's been awful this season too. Every time he got the ball vs PSG it felt like the game came to a dead stop. You can blame Lucho for playing two attacking fullbacks most of the season, but the center backs (primarily Mathieu) have done a good job covering. The big hole is always in our midfield- mostly because when our FBs push up, our DM should stay back to cover...but Busquest always gets caught too far up the field and is too damn slow to get back to help before the defense is in shambles. IMO he has been the weak link- blame it on Lucho's tactics or not, he has been very bad.

Hi Kerry, how was your experience at Camp Nou?

Great, my view was amazing, and the city itself is wonderful. Its cheap to eat and drink but the toursity stuff is quite expensive. Also It was my completed dream to see Messi score even if it was a simple goal... btw I almost missed the Neymar goal it just came out of nowhere.

This is concerning. The kind of trouble he'll get.

You are acting like you didn't see this coming... Suárez is an immense player, and has helped the team in the short time he's been here, but it's only a matter of time until he flips out and we all know that...

We brought Suarez for goals. He has what, 2 goals in 9 games or something. Subpar. Movement, workrate, those are things Alexis excels at. If he doesn't produce Eto'o-level of goals, that is 25-30 goals per season, he is sub par for me.

Alexis was shit in his first season, mediocre in the second and good only in his third. Let time pass first before concluding about Suarez who also came after many months of inactivity but we all know u're the biggest fan of Sanchez so somehow it's understandable from you.
