I am Leg End
anyone that celebrates a missed penalty in the manner he did after what he did in the world cup is exactly that.

never felt so much hatred to anyone in my entire life when I watched playback of that incident.

as for this Evra business, Suarez's comments today don't do his case any good do they.

That's one of the greatest things I have ever seen and remember Suarez was not a liverpool player or even linked to liverpool at that time. I loved him ever since that moment. Pure epicness.

I hope someone does that to a Champions League chasing Liverpool in a match that decides who gets the final 4th place on the last day of the season. perhaps you would still think it is a purely epic thing to do by someone that is not a liverpool player.

Everything that Suarez did showed his passion for his nation. You saw that disgraceful, Uruguay people and fans saw it heroic. What did you expect?! He burst into tears of shame after seeing his team stil has a chance to see 'em among the 4 best teams in the world??!!

99 % of people would have done excatly the same thing as Suarez did against Ghan, and it's not like he wasn't punished for it...he got a red card, Ghana got a penalty which if they scored it wouldn't have mattered what Luis did.

problem is penalties are not equivalent of a goal 100% of the times, it's a lot less. The handball from Suarez was 100% a goal, there was no other obstacle besides a blatant attempt of breaking the rule. To further my point, if Suarez would have fouled some Ghana player preventing a one on one situation with the keeper, the red card and penalty would have been enough punishment for Suarez and Uruguay because a one on one with the keeper is similar to a penalty, considering the chances of goal both represent. A penalty is not always converted

Ghana was the second best team for the whole match anyway. Had Uruguay been more clinical infront of the goal they had to finish off the game in 90 minutes. Justice has been served, no matter how much 'Africa's Advocates' are going to say otherwise.

Nothing to do with Africa, the best team not always wins, that's football. Justice is not taking classification away from Ghana(with the handball) only to be disputed and re-gained again if they score a penalty, which we all know it's not always a goal

it's got nothing to do with africa advocates.

it was a scum bag thing to do. end of.

those who think what he has done was OK. I hope they are all on the receiving end of the same thing, their team other than barca that is, or their national team.

And if someone else manages to pull that off (the opportunity doesn't arise every day), and my team bottles the penalty kick, they will get exactly what they deserve.

Luis Suarez is a hero.

What I'm saying is, don't talk about justice and such stuffs when Ghana was the second best team for the whole match. Even the incident that led to the penalty came from a free kick and the mess inside the box. Ghana didn't deserve to go through and they got what they deserved. The Hand of God II
