Thank you Pistolero. His goal changed everything.

Perfect touch and what a finish, all in a span of 2-3 seconds.

Killer.

If only Suarez was good at combination passing. Cant fault him though, he is amazing and his winner might turn out to be a title deciding goal in the end.
Given the circumstances how he started and him missing all the big chances he bounced back really well and might prove to indeed have a very good first season.

More than just scoring goals. His positioning and movement is top notch. Did anyone see the space he created for the shot that Messi curled wide? Suarez's run across the box pulled both the LB and CB out of position, and Messi was given space to take the shot. Even his passing with LFC was a lot better than he's currently showing. One of the highest chance creators in the EPL last season.

IMO, Suarez suits a counter-attacking style more than a passing/build-up style. The thing is, he's so versatile that he can still fit in just about any style of play, except maybe a Tony Pulis' Stoke City style.

Fantastic touch and finish from Suarez. That goal shows just what he brings to us. Playing on the shoulder of the last defender to provide a threat in behind.

Got sick of his constant diving though. Does him no favours when he goes down clutching the back of his leg when he wasn't even kicked there.

he's worth every penny of what we paid for him and probably a bit more. the perfect attacking signing for us after last season, exactly what we needed.

he's already having a fantastic first season for us. 14 goals & 10 assists in 29 games plus the different dimension he adds to our game and all the space and time he creates for Messi to wreak havoc.

the squad look fresh, motivated, happy & united and ter Stegen, Bravo, Mathieu, Rakitić & Suárez were all excellent additions in the summer. well done Lucho.

My fav skill on the pitch is the ability to kill a high ball, whatever the irregularities, in an instant. A great first touch opens up space, greater avenues, and possibilities to reign supreme over the oppn. Which is why his first touch on that goal is my fav moment from the game.

Luis Enrique's comments, however, reminded me of Laporta's on Ibra's goal (also a Dani assist), and after that it went downhill for him. Let's hope it doesn't have the same effect on :suarez: :p

I remember the times when we complained about his first-touch which was indeed cringeworthy and suddenly he pulls off one of the best touches I've ever seen. How is it even possible to control the bal like he did and to finish it like that? It's actually insane.
