It`s not the question of that. He lost the possession on too many occasions and it's not like he tried some mind-blowing assists either. For a team such as Barca, that play possession football, you need to be able to keep the ball and waste as few of them as you can.
And good point with the LW thing Necro. He won`t come to Barca to play as a striker.

With mobile-front 3 that Pep plays on the field, I think it's not gonna be much of a problem.
Suarez played LW already which makes it easier for him to settle into the Barca front 3 & the way they keep changing positions is only gonna help him

It's a fact that every player will be better playing with Xavi and Iniesta, even I would be a better player with them, so that should be no point of reference to sign a player... We should evaluate what can a player bring on his own...

Suarez is a much better prospect than Huntelaar if you judge his game and not his goal tally.
The Dutch league is a shadow of what it once was. Huntelaar's claim to fame was that he could convert chances into bicycle kicks. That's it. I didn't expect him to be this bad but the comparisons to Van Basten were always hilarious because the man can't run. If he's going to be anything worthwhile, it's going to be as a flashier Ruud. Ruud compensated for his lack of ability with a great work ethic and intelligence, Huntelaar is more technically skilled than Ruud but not enough in any way that it would compensate for the fact that he's slow as fuck and his poaching skill isn't as good as many of us thought away from horrible defenders. The way things are going expect Huntelaar to play for either PSV or Celtics/Rangers next season.
Suarez is actually a skilled player. He's not going to instantly light up another league but his strength is not that he can score goals. A better team could potentially make him better.

I honestly don't rate him. He could move to Sunderlund, maybe Hamburg or Fiorentina - but definitively not Barcelona and definitively not on LW. You guys seriously don't consider him as our first choice on LW? Suarez is not a winger - he's to slow and and he doesn't blow me away with his passes or dribbles. So what will we get if we buy Suarez? A slow winger with mediocre dribbling skills (imo the 2 most importartant attributes for a winger) with a mediocre passing game and intelligence (imo the 2 most importartant attributes for a barcelona player)? No thanks!

I even rate Eljero higher than Suarez for our LW, at least he's a natural winger with great speed and dribbling skills.
Suarez is a good FWD, no doubt about that - and he will become even better cause' he has potential. Will he become a world class FWD? I'm not sure. Will he ever become FC Barcelona quality? I really don't think so. Suarez doesn't have what we're looking for in a #9 (and definitively not for our LW).
