Just watched his goal. Do people realise how difficult that finish is? His shooting ability is unreal.

He rarely scores a goal without placing it intentionally. Amazing accuracy, power, technique and control.

Must be great for the Barca youngsters to watch him, learn and improve their finishing/goalscoring..............
True Munir and Sandro Ramirez are best finishers in the world after learning from MSN in 2015. It's exactly how it works.

That finish is why Bumsi will always have him 1st choice. He is still the best penalty box finisher we have.

The question is, is that finishing worth sacrificing everything else ( movement, pressing etc ), even a mediocre striker like Ferran, brings over him ?

The statistics of our results seem to suggest not.

It depends on the opponent. If the team needs more and faster movement up front because the opponent plays a low block, Lewy isn't very useful anymore as he can't turn or run faster because of his age. If the opponent gives him room in the box, Lewy is still one of the best finishers in the world as we've seen against Valencia again.

If the team sits on a low block like getafe, Torres moves and all that will make 0 different because it's Torres.

Two coaches we had now, would rather keep lewa on in that kind of game as frustrating as it can be, because they know lewa is more likely to take a chance if it's create.

Torres is a sub and can play wide open games like very durtmond and Valencia.

Valencia now played 'wide open' v Barca as reason Ferran scored and made an impact.

Same Valencia who it was made out 'sat back' as reason FDJ played well or was not 'ineffective'.

Mental gymnastics at its finest.

Nah Valencia pushed up a higher line and pressed as you were told when tried to claim they sat back as type in way what allowed FDJ etc to play.

Jamrock on FDJ thread - ''Teams that sit back or aren't really offering much, like Valencia and gefate are games we'll see him in''
Jamrock on Ferran thread - ''Torres is a sub and can play wide open games like very durtmond and Valencia''.

Utter nonsense as ever.
