espn commentator said he got ragdolled in one first half sequence

there actually was a foul on him that wasn't called because refs know he falls at the lightest touch now

Lewandowski has the most big chances missed in La Liga. Raphinha not too far behind though. With that being said they're close in terms G+A with Lewandowski on 20 and Raphinha on 18.

But Raphinha also leads the league in big chances created just ahead of Lamine, presses and tracks back like a maniac and is not the primary goalscorer of the team.

Like I said, not expecting Lewandowski to play well overall because he simply cannot, but he need to bury the chances he gets.

You will hear no complaints from me if he is clinical the next few months. What he cannot do is go on a dry spell of 5+ games where he keep missing the chances he gets because rarely does he ever make up for it in terms of chance creation.

He is not like he used to be its obvious, but I've watched todays game and id like to ask how any striker is supposed to play in this Barca in the future?

Barca midfield has no balls, they only play easy passes. There were several times middle of the pitch was open but they chose easy sideways pass and wait until opponent closes themselves on their half, any movement is closed off then. If Pedri and co are only doing spinning with the ball and stop the tempo then how can a Striker make any runs if the only pass he receives are the obvious one that everyone is waiting for on opponents defense?

If all matches Barca plays are like this I pity all future strikers of this club.

I dont watch mamy matches anymore though, I dont have time nowadays

It's a good thing that Lewandowski read that pass or shot or whatever that was by Yamal.

Otherwise it would have been squandered again.

Instead of passing to Lewandowski they rather just ignore him. But sometimes their ignorance proves to be useful.

Lewy can't run. The only way he can be fed is by finding him with low to mid-height crosses in the box as he is a mediocre header too.

I assume/hope we plan to replace him this summer or at least phase him out. Who are the candiates to replace him?

I feel a young striker is what missings in this team moving forward. The rest of the team is quite set.
