Weak.
It really is. It's absurd, I watch him "play" and he hardly sets one foot right or has a nice shot at goal or does ANYTHING with quality and he's 38 ffs so he hardly runs anymore - yet he's our first choice #9. He's scored 4 goals this season, but not one of them was a "great" goal really. It's driving me crazy thinking "am I the only one who thinks he sucks this much, dude has had a handfull of good games since the WC and he keeps playing almost 90 minutes every match???". How many more years should we wait until he can string a couple of games together where he isn't absolute dogshit? He's 38 ffs!!!??Absurd decision flick kept him that long. This is reminiscent of the amigos days
after Villareal match he needs a rest
First of all, he is 36 years old. Secondly, if you play with 10 players from the 10th minute, how is he supposed to shoot if he has never received the ball in the penalty area?It really is. Yeah yeah, he's 36. Still sucks, 10 men or not. This MUST he be his last season.First of all, he is 36 years old. Secondly, if you play with 10 players from the 10th minute, how is he supposed to shoot if he has never received the ball in the penalty area?
He will still win you many matches, LaLiga, thanks to his goals in the Champions League the club will gain a lot of money, but you will still complain. You praise Flick, and Flick praises Lewandowski - something is wrong, isn't it?Yeah yeah, he's 36. Still sucks, 10 men or not. This MUST he be his last season.
The only wrong is that you don't seem to understand that people don't tell the whole truth or distort the truth. He scored some half-assed goals, but ok he scored them. We also don't have anybody on the bench that could replace him and we didn't have room in our FFP to do anything in the transfer window. Lewa has been mediocre (compared to our previous strikers) at best last part of last season and bad from the WC until than. Again, he scores and that's ok - but how can you not when we push and push against LL fodder who park the buss? Play Torres as #9 and he would do almost the same. Lewa has shown one bit of "brilliance" since the WC, one bit if individual mastery when we're in a pinch etc - just some half-assed shots inside the box, lame tap-ins and PK's. Usually he disappears the whole game, gets bullied of the ball majority of times and simply fucks up everything he's involved in.He will still win you many matches, LaLiga, thanks to his goals in the Champions League the club will gain a lot of money, but you will still complain. Last match, Lewandowski's assist to Raphinia, who being as slow as a snail loses the ball - it should have been a goal, the second situation counterattack 3:1 - Raphinia loses the ball, could have passed to 2 other players and it was practically a 100% goal situation. This match could have been at least tied or even won. But you're hanging dogs on Lewandowski without being objective about Raphinia. The only wrong is that you don't seem to understand that people don't tell the whole truth or distort the truth. Wrong again, you're taking L after L. Go look in the Raphinha thread, better yet I'll help you out. This is what I wrote:Last match, Lewandowski's assist to Raphinia, who being as slow as a snail loses the ball - it should have been a goal, the second situation counterattack 3:1 - Raphinia loses the ball, could have passed to 2 other players and it was practically a 100% goal situation. OK, I didn't read that. You're right - nevertheless, I think that Lewandowski will bring back a smile to our faces more than once. He is not trained to lose, he has a winner's mentality, and on top of that he is professional in training, nutrition and body care. Consider one more thing, Lewandowski was injured for maybe 2 months during his entire career. He earns a lot, but he is almost always healthy - that is also his value.Wrong again, you're taking L after L. Go look in the Raphinha thread, better yet I'll help you out. This is what I wrote:
"Was shit tonight, but so was half of our team. That red card so early came as a shock and it looked like some players couldn't shake it of - Raphinha being one of them, Pedri the other one. You could almost see how those two totally crumbled from that point forward. Raphinha is no Neymar, but he has other qualities and has been one of our best players last two seasons and the start of this season - but tonight he probably want to forget about. We still need an LW that could ideally also play RW to rotate with Raphinha and sometimes offload Yamal, hopefully next season (and hopefully we ship Torres somewhere because he isn't even worthy of sitting on the bench)."
Also, I'm not saying Lewa is totally awful and was not implying it. Go look at my earlier posts in this thread, but I do say this season MUST be his last though. He still offers an ok assist or nice flick here and there and scores a tap in - but what's the bar here? He's a striker at Barca ffs, first choice striker - we've had R9, Messi, Suarez, Rivaldo, Romario, Ney, Villa, Henry, Eto'o. Lewa in his prime would be among them, Lewa today is a sorry excuse of his prime.
