Lewa is a bit troubled in the head if he wants to leave Bayern at 34, and would doubt it's not purely money-driven. It must piss him off how lesser players probably earn more than him. Maybe he's hoping for a nice piece of that oil-dollar double-crust pie PSG is serving to superstars left or right.

Should've come to Barca in 2014, he would've been on 20m+ net over the last few years. :bartomeu:

I can imagine that PSG will tries to sign him next season if mbappe leaves and they dont get haaland.

Just wondering if our situation would be better so we could keep Messi, bring a good CB and DM and have a very competitive team, how much would you be willing to pay for Lewa at his age?

Hard to tell with Messi around, with Messi, I'd prefer we invested into a world class winger. But with Messi gone, if we could get a new DM and a strong CB, Lewa would be the last missing piece. I'd go 60-70, depends on the salary. What about you?

Yeah, probably about the same. No way Bayern would sell for that though.

Also, he'd be my backup option if we couldn't get Haaland.

Really close to moving up into my top 5 strikers of all time.

R9, Romario, Van Basten, Muller, and Eto'o (for big game performances) I'd have ahead of him.

he might be the first striker ever to score more goals in the second part of his career compared to the first one. longevity is a thing, messi has longevity, ronaldo as well, this dude is better now than when he was in his prime

Ibrahimovic. But Ibra was a choker in the CL. Lewa started off as hot and cold (first 4 years at Bayern) but has now turned into a killer.
