Overrated doesnt mean bad player. Great forward, but not as great as people make it out. Still a level below Suarez, Etoo, Henry and the like, at least for me.

He has 540 goals with clubs and around 75 with Poland I believe. So 600 at the moment, give or take.

I would still take Eto'o over him for a one-off CL final or something like that, but his numbers even with the Bundesliga are kinda high.

I was going off his wikipedia page and adding the club + country. But I see why I made the mistake...about 60-70 of his club goals are in lower leagues in Poland.

I don't think he gets to 750 in this case. Maybe 700 at best.

When he eventually retires, what do you guys think his legacy will be? How highly will he be ranked amonst the all-time great strikers? Best (along with Suarez) of the past 10-15 years but when folks will end up making their lists amongst the greats... how will Lewy fare? Better than Ibra? Better than Eto`o? Better than Van Nistelroy? Van Basten?? Shearer?? What his place will be?

You go way overboard with this guy... I bet you havent even seen most of the great play, and you rely solely on statistics. Lewy has scored a shitload of goals but I`ve never seen him dribble past anyone or playmake in the way Benz and Luisito have. Watch his hattrick goals againt Cologne.

Lewy is not as good as them.

He's above the likes of Ibra and Benzema though. Unsure when this Benzema overrating became a thing. Perez PR machine working overhours.
