Trying to make a big deal that Lewa cut off his deal with Huawei, while other player like Griezmann and many more did that long time ago.

I can understand Lewandowski cutting ties with Huawei, even though I don't quite understand exactly what Huawei's role is in this (I saw a graphic in Ukrainian or Russian I am not sure, which lists Huawei as one of the telecommunication companies that have exited Russia the other day).

And I can understand why Russian national teams and federations are banned (for now, nobody said for life) since they are considered national bodies affiliated with the state. What I can't understand is why Russians clubs (not just those affiliated with the state like CSKA but everybody) and scores of individual Russian athletes, even Russian cats have been banned. It is getting absurd and it will not hurt Putin, rather it will help him rally his people under the flag.

This banning sportsmen shit is the return of the Cold War tactics. Was really surprised to see everyone in the west calling for it and cheering when Russian clubs were excluded

Huawei works together with the Russian military.

Ending the sponsoring contract means that Lewandowski waives 5 million EUR.

Would have liked to see Lewa at WC but his team has no chance to win it so i don't think it will hurt him so much.

Would still live to see him in the big event even if its for 3-4 games.
