Difficult to compare Benz and Lewa, would probably take big benz over Lewa but it's close.
Agreed. Benzema is surely the more complete player, Lewy a better, more clinical finisher. Benzema can play both number 9 and 10 roles, Lewy couldnt. Benzemas link-up play, ball-control, dribbling and general playmaking skills are superior. Lewy on the other hand, as I mentioned is more of a killer, a pure striker. If you play against cannon fodder opposition (Bochum, Union Berlin, Alaves, Cadiz...) week in and week out, Lewy will probably score more goals but when it comes to a tough CL test (Liverpool, City.....), Benz tends to find a way and bring his team mates with him along.

Benz has always been class but finishing was inconsistent for a long time. Nothing to do with Ronaldo. Ronaldo assisted Benzema more than the other way round actually.
Benzema always had a good all round game but his finishing wasn't clinical at all for years which is why people made fun of him.
It's revisionist to blame Ronaldo for that when Benz was missing sitters. You can't whitewash his past to big him up lmao. The guy had 5 league goals in 17/18 season. That's pathetic for a CF in relegation sides, nevermind Real Madrid

Lewy clinical? No, he is not. Benzema overperforms his xG since 14/15 with 5.01 - Lewy just by 0.17. (xG from understat.com)
Lewy is not just a good goal scorer - he actually played as a 10 before in his first year at Dortmund. But both adapt to the role they have have in their teams - and Bayern does not need Lewy to be creative as they have more creativity and movement in their attack than Real Madrid has. Real - especially with Ancelotti - builds more on individuality in their attack whereas Bayern is much more a team construct - even if feeding Lewy is one aspect of that, too.
