He will cost an arm and leg, as Bayern won't let him go for cheap, should they decide to let him go, which I highly doubt they will.

FSG is loaded though.

Like DonAK said, if he decides to leave Bayern hardly have any leverage.

Romano also said that a number of big European clubs are interested in him. It's totally up to the player and his entourage in this case.

I think Bayern will sell for 30-40m if there's no way back, or maybe they play out his contract and allow him to leave for free in 2023.

They have no leverage. One year left on his contract and there's no clear replacement for him. Depends on whether Lewandowski is ready to kick up a fuss if they decide to let him run out his contract. If he's adamant about an extension or a transfer I think they'll eventually budge.

Their team is built to win CL titles. Losing Lewandowski will deal a great blow to that.

I think they will not sell Lewandowski at all this summer even if they couldn't reach a new deal with him and his agent, they'd rather keep him for one more season and take chances to renew him later or let him go free in 2023 than lose him this summer without a replacement.

My personal wish is that Lewandowski won't renew and walks free next summer so Bayern gets nothing and he goes to the PL like Manchester United etc. :D Won't happen though. I think Lewandowski will end up renewing in the end, the alleged frustration was because of the lack of any movement on Bayern's part to renew so far. Both Hainer and Kahn have said they want to extend him so they will sit down and talk soon.

Agreed that Bayern has little leverage IF Lewandowski wants to leave (I don't believe he does, he wants to stay with more money). My point is even if that was the case, they won't sell him this summer, unless Lewandowski can fetch a huge amount for them so that they can use it to buy say Haaland etc. Bayern won't sell him for just 30-40m.

If they decide against extending him that would indeed be the smart move for them as they still get one final year out of him for a CL challenge, but would Lewandowski agree to that? If he gets injured he might lose a lot of money when he leaves as a free agent.

If he kicks up a fuss I can see them trying to sell him.

I do think they'll find an agreement in the end though and renew him.

I doubt they'll repeat the Alaba and Sule mistake and let another player walk for free.

Bayern are a very stingy club and I believe they'd take money in the summer rather than letting him walk for free to a European rival.

Alaba was no mistake, Bayern chose not to sell him because he was deemed needed. I think Lewandowski is in a similar boat, they'd rather lose him for free than sell him and not get a good replacement.

They are stingy but they also want to get the best out of their players for their CL hope, especially someone as key to them as Lewandowski.

He's absolutely obsessed with fitness. He monitors which side he sleeps on, pillows, controlling room temperatures and all that shit. He eats desserts bwfore the main course and many other abnormal things like that. He has said he has done these things from an early age to increase his longevity.

 Unhealthy levels of fanboyism right here

Don't be surprised if he lasts much longer than that.

It's funny reading shite like this. If you're trained in the hard and applied sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Medicine) you'll have experience reading and interpreting research, at the very least a rudimentary knowledge of how to interpret statistical modelling. Point is, anyone who does knows that "nutritional and fitness science" is mostly pseudoscience. I assure you if he stopped doing 90% of the shit you listed, he'd still perform just as well with the same kind of fitness.

Like come, sleeping on one side affecting your level of performances? The dude is a quack and shouldn't be commended for being one.

I'm not analysing it. I'm just mentioning this because this is what the guy credits his fitness to.

I'm not pretending to know whether this actually helps at the highest level. Whatever he's doing is working well for him.

If you're into the logic and reasoning behind this, I'd suggest you to read the article on this where they have explained these habits in detail.

It's an amusing read, if not anything else.

We dont need him. We should get Suarez and Cavani for free in the Summer and replace Xavi with Ernesto. Then we ought to be back in business.
