as a Bayern fan I never rated him much before those 5 goals in 9 minutes, I thought he was another Gomez or Mandzo.
BTW he is still pissing me off with how non clinical can be at times, he misses sitters and than scores a goal from much harder situation. You just get that feeling when he is one on one with keeper he will miss. I think his best attribute by far is offensive awareness not finishing.

This is a pretty good take.
How do you rank him all time? Both within strikers category and as a player. Top 10 striker ever? Top 25 player ever? Or no.
I value your opinion as an actual Bayern fan more than pseudo Bayern cheerleaders like Rassvet

I'm not asking for an exact placement. Just a general ballpark feel of whether the guy is in those exclusive categories or not.

The above 6 are easy locks based on their historical significance/pedigree, I would imagine.
Then you have the likes of:
Eto'o
Suarez
Shearer
Henry
Lewa
Benzema
Raul
Karl Heinz Rummenigge
Ian Rush
The question is who of those (amongst others) goes into the remaining 4 slots.
but dont u know, wolfe, around here lewa is considered a second or third-tier striker, owing to his single CL and the fact that he plays for a dominant bayern

For me it's a discussion of where you put the time break most of the time and why do it there. I grew to not like talking about players before break of century. But I would probably agree with those you mentioned
