Dunno but at this point it seems really likely that he's leaving Bayern.
According to Romano, a number of Prem clubs and PSG are interested alongside Barca. Saw reports yesterday saying Xavi wants an experienced superstar for the Messi role(as in leader/face of the team). Let's see

We might get 40m for Coutinho. We won't get anything for Grizemann this summer, Atletico can still loan him for another season. The mandatory buy clause won't kick in until the summer of 2023, from what I read.

Good to know, but if Bayern ends up getting more money from any of these clubs, us included, due to competition it is still bad news. I don't want Bayern get a penny, let alone if it is from us.
Bayern should just keep him for another season and see how he does and then go from there.

Not very injury prone and takes care of himself. He is scoring 50+ goals last few seasons. If he comes here and gives us 25-30 for a few seasons and we are able to nick a league title his transfer will be considered a success. Comparable level, fitness and age to Cristiano when he transferred to Juve.
40m gets you nothing in this market. Maybe enough for some second rate wildcard prospect from the Primeira Liga, or Eredivisie. Take the proven quality.

Tbh if he gets 40 plus goals a season for Barca then 40 million is a steal.
Still not the best situation long term.
But if the remaining team is young and some of the oldies are cleared out then you can easily accommodate a legendary oldie.

He won't. You saw how he has played in the second half the season. Also we are not as effective as Bayern yet.

That's due to Nagelsmann's tactics and players not passing to him. Still outperforming his xG and averaging like goal per game in the second half of the season

I disagree. They have been crowding the attacking line and Lewandowski was getting plenty of services but he hasn't been able to beat his defenders (like he was able to in the past) or his touches had been off etc. You don't see him tracking back as much as before, which is kind of natural I guess, given his age, but quite drastic even compared to the first half of the season. Something about him is off, I can't put my fingers on it exactly.
40m is not the biggest problem, his desire for a long contract and his wage demands are much bigger problems.

If he is sulking (could very well be true) then here is another reason why I don't want him here.
If he is not the center of all the attention, if he doesn't get all the PK's etc. when he comes here and he sulks, imagine that.
At this point I don't trust Laporta and Xavi, only Bayern will stop this crazy stuff. I am willing to send Bayern $10 to help them renew him.
