I find this funny. Curious about our discipline and character? How many times has he been on a Bayern side that have destroyed us? It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out we have a bunch of weak, lazy cunts.

It's google translated. Probably means he wants to know their playing style, instincts and how Xavi trains the team.

Rudiger improved dramatically over the last two seasons .. there were lots of doubters a couple of years ago BEFORE Tuchel improved him .

Madrid paid him a huge signing on fee plus gave him a 4 year deal , 400 thousand a week !

He's a free signing, so it comes with the package.

Barca is working hard to have Robert Lewandowski available for the team's preseason tour in the USA.

Is this for marketing reasons??

BTW, Rassvet KingLeo10 you guys planning to catch a preseason game??

nah, I don't like the atmosphere at these pre season games.

Barca is playing the Red Bulls in Red Bulls Arena though which is close by, so maybe there is a slim chance I change my mind if Lewa is going to play in that.

Who in their right mind would bench Pedri for Soler? lol

Xavi will do that. To me, Pedri is way over-rated. We have labeled him as a STAR player ( same as A.Fati ) to early. Having Soler does not means exactly that he will be guaranteed the starting position. They both can share play-time, depending on the opponent.

And something OFF Topic.
Barcelona has wage bill of 560 mil. For comparison, Real has 400 mil. and Bayern has 300 mil. We need badly to lower our wages.

It’s what happens when you’re desperate to fulfill the superstar role with someone. But also the front office needs a player or two to market for revenue. Fati and Pedri got it because they are most hyped on social media.

Not sure if Pedri is overrated. Xaviball turned into ugly football once Pedri got re-injured. What seemed to be improved by Xavi's tactics coincided with Pedri's presence on the pitch.

When it comes to marketing he isn't a superstar though. Footballwise he is on that way. Kinda like Iniesta, who was a 'quiet' star too.

I completely agree with your statement.

And because this thread is for Lewandowski I would like to make an extra comment in this same post.

According to the German Sport Publication "Bild", Bayern have reportedly valued the 33 years - old striker at 40 million euros. Barca is not willing to pay more than 30 mil. But, the Bavarian team could be forced to accept significantly less that their asking price due to the " Webster Rule " which allows players over 28 years of age to terminate their contracts provided they have served at least two years. That rule will apply perfectly to the Polish striker. In another words, threatened to lost Lewndowski as a free agent, Bayern can agree to sell him for about 20-25 million.

If Lewandowski doesn't get the Barcelona transfer within the next 10 days where he'll be busy with international duty, he'll take the next step in public against Bayern.

Various clubs are interested but the Pole is set on a move to Barca and excited to join his new teammates for the preseason. Lewandowski admires the young talent at Barcelona and thinks he can guide them and be the leader of the project.

Unless he tries to trigger the nuclear option that you mentioned before which I don't think he will, he can say as much as he wants in public about not wanting to play for Bayern anymore and there isn't a thing he can do, if Bayern plays hardball and refuses to sell.

From what Hainer said yesterday, it seems Bayern is more and more entrenched in their position of holding onto him for another season.
