9 - Robert Lewandowski

Funny enough, I think Lukaku would work there, as they've got many wingers to create chances for him.

The three wingers at Bayern together have 15 assists - Kimmich has 11, M?ller 18.

Problem with Gnabry is that he consistently has a high xA but has a low number of assists.

Is that his problem or that the people he passes to are missing?

Since he came to Bayern Gnabry had 22 league assists from about 38 xA. I do not have an explanation especially as he has an average xA of 0.21 - this year even 0.23 - per key pass. I would understand it if this value would not be that high.
Just to compare that... Dembele created chances of an average of 0.17 per key pass in his career, this season it is 0.22

It is just unusual.

Ansu Fati ( M.Depay ) - Lewandowski (Aubameyang ) - Raphinha (F.Torres)

C.Soler (Pedri ) - R. Neves ( Nico ) - F.Kessie ( Gavi )

J.Alba (...............) - K.Koulibali ( E.Garcia ) - A.Christensen ( G.Pique ) - R.Araujo ( D.Alves )

Can our board complete this roster? Hell, yes, but first they have to offload 7 - 8 players at least and I don't see them working on that.

Who in their right mind would bench Pedri for Soler? lol

Would you guys think someone like Patrick Schick could do well to replace Lewa? Not talking 50 goals/season but generally being a good, reliable striker who could fit into Bayerns system and make them a CL contender or will they completely implode when Lewy leaves?

Domestically, sure. I think they will go for someone proven (eg Schick) along with a project with potential (eg Ekitike) in my book.

I'm more concerned with Bayern squeezing every penny of our transfer budget on Lewa though. It's going to be a Summer of Lewandowski and the freebies. Raphinha is out the question now. 40m+ on Lewandowski after selling our soul could be a Ibra MkII moment.

Patrick Schick is not available this summer. So that is not even a question.

Ok. Well, I guess they can try to buy Mario G?tze from PSV and use him as a false 9. Remember him? Was touted as the German Messi. "The greatest talent German football has ever produce". Now he is a washed-up fatass playing in Holland. Too much too soon for a young kid. Some people say that he has some kind of a metabolic illness. For me, he is just a lazy fat fuck. Had he stayed on the treadmill more than in McDonald's, he might have done better.

There is still uncertainty over the deal for Lewandowski. Barca have recently been in touch with Lukaku's representatives as a backup plan. Interest from a couple of English clubs is making this Lewandowski transfer tougher for Barcelona.

Lewandowski wants to join Barcelona within the middle of this month as he wants to know the Club, City and coach better. Lewandowski is curious to find out about the discipline and character of his new teammates and their training regime. It is being said that Lewandowski will start a new training regime post training with Barca increasing the hours of training to improve his game. He's excited by this challenge and wants to start concrete and win medals with his new club.
