9 - Robert Lewandowski

Lewandowski always had a reputation for not being clutch enough for Bayern, and he's the same here.

Furthermore he's not the type of player able to create for himself. At Bayern he almost always had not only creative midfielders but also wingers great 1v1 able to put in a good ball for him. So with Pedri and Dembele out there's no such creativity left in the team.

Bayern have replaced his goals with Chopou in the 9 role, that tells you all you need to know. Goals are just evenly distributed instead of him getting 40.

For a guy who prides himself on his build, he's very easily shrugged off the ball.

People are not asking the right question.

Why do players who have done great elsewhere become shit when they join us?
That is the question.
It's the culture of the club that is the problem.

Pretty much every Bayern player declines after they leave the Bayern 'training' regimen.

With that being said, Lewandowski went from having the likes of Davies, Kimmich, Hernandez, Coman, Gnarby, Musiala, Sane etc...creating chances for him to the likes of Raphinha, Ferran Torres, Alba, Sergi Roberto, Dembele and Balde.

Only Dembele is of the quality from his previous team. Im not slating Balde either, he's young and still developing, he's just not Davies or Kimmich.

Needs service to score and a lot of it. Other than that, doesn't generate play at all, hold up the ball, create much, just a poacher.

Similar to old CR, but CR had more even in old age.

However, his bumcrushing abilities are still likely going to lead us to a LaLiga win, so he is being very important in that aspect.

Currently, Almeria are one of the biggest bums fighting relegation and none of his "bumcrushing" abilities were in display today...

Not today, but usually he finds goals against bottom half teams.

It's just more noticeable when he doesn't do it because he ghosts against big teams every single time..

I miss the days when you could get an Eto for only 24 million .

When Etoo was 24m, Ronaldinho was 33m the summer before.
He was a WC winner and played in Europe for a few years.
In today's Mudryk and Enzo market, young Ronaldinho would cost 100-130m.

That means that Etoo for 24m back then would have been 70-80m today.

Honestly after the World Cup he has been very poor. Invisible against bigger teams, struggles even against smaller teams..

Have to worry for Lewandowski. Something has happened, because after every duel he pulls an El-Hadj Diouf "The World is against me" face.
