Bayern was pretty excellent with Naglesmann in CL this season, they won all their matches till Citye tie, if I'm not mistaking and had a score line 20+ scored with only a few conceaded.
They should've never sacked Naglesmann mid season.
We beat Inter in a phase when they were still struggling really at the beginning of the season. We were lucky that Barcelona did not beat us in the first half of the first match - in the second match you were already out. Plzen is just Plzen.
And it for sure is not that difficult to beat PSG this spring...
Since the start of the season we did not score a winning goal after the 60th minute (until last weekend). If you look at the minute table in the league from minute 45 to 90 you will see that we would have 74 points in minute 45, 70 in minute 60, 64 in minute 75 and 62 at fulltime. We had a goal average of 53 to 10 in the first halfs - and 28:23 in the second half. Before last weekend it was 26 to 23.
There was so much wrong in that team and with Nagelsmann's coaching. We did not really have a system anymore, no mechanisms in the offense, passing and positioning got really worse and we could not control a match. Nagelsmann is a Rennball coach - that might work with Leipzig etc. - but is nothing for a team in a league were everybody gives us the ball possession.
The team got already worse from autumn to spring in Nagelsmann's first season - and in the second season the results in the league were terrible after the winter break and we were losing 10 points on Dortmund.
Tuchel tries to repair what is possible to repair. But best is that he can look at the team before next season and see and plan what he needs to do. And we are again ahead - so we should still be able to win the league.
