Better hope Saudis can make him a great offer. I fear him and his wife are too in love with Barcelona. The club needs to be clear that he won't be a starter and it's probably for the best to move. Then it's up to him how to react, either he moves or he accepts his decline and takes a father role on the bench, just to be able to stay in Barcelona.

Probably it's also his delusion of still being a top player that keeps him here. Maybe it's better he takes 100M from the Saudis and fucks off, you never know if next season they'll offer that.
2-3 years of Saudi golden prison ain't nothing. He could have his private jet and visit Barcelona every week.

Xavi needs to change the system to fit him more. Lewy doesnt thrive in a 4-3-3 formation. Barca needs a good number 10 behind Lewy. Someone like Mario Götze.

Lots of 35+ players are doing well in FM. Kimmich at that age is still a starter in my Barca team that just won 5th consecutive CL and 7th La Liga in a row.

He looked as if he was doubting himself versus Cadiz. That rebound shot just about summed up his mental state right now. Dwindled for 1/1.5 seconds too long and let the defender close the shot. Fresh Lemonchowder puts that away.

I reckon once we get the forwards moving around him he will start playing better. Must be drab though when Gavi goes for a 1-2 and in his head he's thinking "great, I give this ball back to Gavi and he is just going to fall over", not try a shot or anything.

He's not getting any younger. Everyone declines as they age, and his physique is the biggest part of his game. It's not helping him that there are no reliable servers who can feed him balls right now...

You cant make chicken salad out of chicken shit. RL9 cant run, dribble or create. His physique is made for show not for go. The only way to utilize Lewandowski is to fill the entire attack with young, fast, mobile players. Players like Vinicius, Chiesa, Mbappe, Luis Diaz and others. Otherwise Lewy is like a tortoise on its shell!
