9 - Robert Lewandowski

This guy's record against big teams/in important games and his record against small teams is really notable. Of course any player is going to score more against worse teams naturally, but the difference here is obscene and extremely notable compared with other top strikers.

He regularly scores braces against crap teams but can barely touch the ball in games against decent organised teams.

And barely touching the ball is a very common thread. Its not only that he can't bag goals, but he is almost completely uninvolved against any decent opposition. No assists, goals, important passes, forget that, he can barely even touch the ball a few times a half.
He's so lazy and only relies on his teammates to involve him in play, if the game isnt going his team's way he is as good as useless.

He always had the same issues as Ibra. Just not mobile enough to not get marked out of games. Which is why I am also really excited about Roque. Just a more fun type of player to watch - mobile and relentless.

Remember that even though Suarez had that awful CL away record, he always delivered against Real. Lewy? He is the epitome of a flat track bully.

Fabrizio saying this cat has received offers from Saudis this summer but refused them. :tata:
He'll do his absolute best to regain form, only after failing for a full season will he take the L and leave to Saudi. He still probably feels he's a top CF but reality will hit him this season.

Perfect opportunity for him to be dropped for the Betis game. Played way more than Ferran in the international break. Can even spin it to him that they are resting him for Champions League. The movement of Ferran is exactly what the team needs right now.

If they don't drop him now, fear they never will.

Roque will drop him, if he keeps playing badly.
