Don't think so. There is absolutely nothing pointing to that, as a matter fact it's quite the opposite. He is discontent with Xavi's tactics thinking he is isolated and doesn't recieve enough quality balls in the area, he is unhappy with what his teammates are feeding him with on the pitch, he said he's feeling great and wants to continue playing for years and he stated he does not consider leaving Europe and refused a Saudi offer.

He's clearly thinking he's not the problem and that the enviroment and circmustances are the culprits.

Tbh, people were saying that he misses too many chances even in his prime. I guess they were right. He really doesn't look like a clinical finisher at all.
