Developing a player who cant control a ball to save his life instead of just putting the third best goalscorer of the competition in the biggest match in Xavis coaching career and for Barca in last 3-4 years… sounds like a good plan.Such a waste to not let roque develop and continue letting this guy play for barca
He did make the third yes. But could’ve at least let vitor play final 15 minsDeveloping a player who cant control a ball to save his life instead of just putting the third best goalscorer of the competition in the biggest match in Xavis coaching career and for Barca in last 3-4 years… sounds like a good plan.
Lewa was involved in the first goal and scored the third
And also the fact that he's 35 now and still playing almost every game lol.It seems good to criticize Lewa but at the end he did his job. Goal + invisible assist means he did his job so I'd like to read more encouraging comments coming from you guys. You'll have to understand the time we had strikers as Ronaldo, Eto'o or Rivaldo has passed, now we have Lewa and we should judge him on his qualities. Don't wait from him to take the ball at the midfield or on the side, dribble past everybody then score. Lewa is more a pure number 9 so judge him on his stats and his ability to combine surrounded by defenders. Lewa won't touch 50 balls per game, he doesn't have the potential to create the danger but he is and Will always be a goal machine.
Lewandowski: "Whenever I shoot on goal, I gain confidence, even if I miss. I tell myself: 'Okay, that's another chance.' I get more desire. If I don't get the ball I get internally frustrated."
🗣️ Robert Lewandowski on closing the game earlier: "This is something we can improve. In my opinion, if we had looked for a few more passes in the first half in a couple of situations, we could have already closed this match, winning three or four to zero, but we always have to fight until the end and keep in mind that the game is not over yet. Today, the first 20 minutes of the second half didn't look good. Napoli took a bit of initiative. Later on, we tried to attack, scored a goal, and everything returned to the right track."
On the draw: "I don't know who we will face. I hope it will be someone we can overcome and get into our rhythm. We still have some time. Now there will be a break for the national team. Then, a few injured players should return, and hopefully, there won't be any new injuries. That's also important. I hope it will be like that. Who we will face? We'll see. The important thing is that we continue to improve our game."
What a useless interview!
All that I learnt from it is there is an internation break coming soon.
Shame.
Tell us when it is
I mean that's hardly surprising.
