You're welcome
Not that he wasn't wasteful at BVB or Bayern. Some games he had 100% conversion some 25%. But he got you a winner. So did he the previous game. As long as does only that, he is right on the money.
it’s second game of season. Question for now is if he remains fit. seems he is relieved of pressing and defending duties.

He got to be the best Footballer in the World under Flick. Not before, or after. Deriving from that, let's hope, there's going to be the last super season at this level of football for the super sniper Robby L.

Objectively, even if it were not for the winner, he did good in today's game. Maybe a wave of acute criticism got to him, and a result he upped his efforts. Flick should spare him every now and then.

I will make myself unpopular, but it has to be said. He plays as well as you could expect a 36 YEAR OLD to play. He always seems to be on the end of chances, sniffing out a goal and even his link up play was good today.

Should we have bought him? No. Should we replace him? Yes. Should he have been given the contract we gave him? No.

Yet none of those things are his fault. They are the fault of the Sporting Department alone. Lets end the personal attacks on Lewa today. For HIS AGE, he is not doing badly at all.

I prefer paying 45M + 5M for him on high wages than getting the likes of Nunez for 85M or Jesus for 50M for example. And those 2 were the biggest CF transfer in 2022 after Halaand. Keeping Auba was also a massive risk considering how inconsistent he was.

The lewa transfer will be fully judged after this season, if he scores 30 goals all comps and plays well.

The transfer was a fair to good, not perfect.

That would be 3 seasons, 90 goals, maybe 20 assist, in what like, 170 games or whatever the number is.

Arsneal and Liverpool would not regret those two over Lewa either though.

It goes against near enough everything they are trying to build.

What is for sure is the next striker is of utmost importance. Lewa is a bridge for financial times Barca is in. We got him because he was the best we could do.

Legitimately Barca should be shooting for a long term striker next go round.

Who really fits those categories right now? Not many. All will be super expensive too. Unless we really think someone like Pau Victor could somehow make that step which is extremely doubtful.

Of course Haaland will be talked about but honestly we cannot expect him. Also he doesn't fit the technical aspect. To be fair he works well enough with Pep so we can make an exception there.

Jonathan David not tall but free next summer if has another good season.

Could see Lewa still being at club and them trying to sign someone like him on the cheap.

Haaland probably was always the plan if he would arrive but not sure could afford him or he would want it currently. If things go tits up with City FFP then maybe.
