I never doubted he has an amazing propensity for scoring. I am also not saying his all-round game was hopeless (it's miles better than Haaland's or Rashford's ever was).

What I claim is that his all-round game is not the level needed of a player considered one of the best strikers of all time. The same way Cristiano Ronaldo is rated mostly for his goals, so is Lewy. These guys are miles off the true geniuses in all-round game, and need their stats to compete. Whereas Messi and Diego don't need to score loads of goals to be amongst the best players ever - the fact Messi does just makes him an even more amazing player.

That is all I am saying. That peak Lewy had a good all-round game but by far his strength was scoring, and he didn't playmake as much as his team-mates. He brought others into play well but what makes him 'one of the greatest strikers ever' is the goal stats and achievements you refer to, and not his overall football quality outside the box.

Thank you.

Ultimately he cannot even make that simple pass, and no it isn't because he's in decline. It's because he has never had IT.

He cannot weight even a simple pass. Hasn't got the brain cells to angle it. That's not decline, not being able to play a pass.
I'm sorry, but saying he lacks brain cells is completly ridiculous, and only shows you never really watched him, you've seen his games maybe but didn't really observe.

Btw I actually watched a few games under Xavi, when he was the most criticized, and found it too painful to watch all his wasted movement and frustration because of it. He had to downgrade his football IQ in real time to even try to click with that attack, now it`s better because Flick thinks for them but really, must have been a shock after playing with Müller for so long.

Lots of what you say is like that btw, flat track bully in Bundesliga, when he did exactly the same thing to teams from PL in CL. Not decisive in CL games, there are plenty, prime Kane better etc etc. Too much to disagree to even try to debate that, just a flood of wrong tbh.

So what's an excuse now? Rested for a week and can't run can't do shit against even older defender than him and team that actually plays open.

Waiting for more pics from his gym and memes

Before last game went home because wasn't feeling well. High chance he had infection or sth, enough to throw smb off balance. It's change of seasons now, when I see Polish boxer or fighter schedule a fight on November/ December, I say goodbye to the win right away. Now the winter/ spring change is usually better, but still a wave of infections hits Poland like clockwork, it's universal ofc but much less pronounced on Spaniards or South Americans. You can keep same diet here and you will gain few kg on the coming of winter and loose same few on spring.

Or just a bad game. It's a win btw, just saying.

Whatever fanboy, he doesn't even have the sense to angle that pass tonight, hence now he clearly lacks brain cells. I see him fail to spot passes all the time due to his poor vision.

Kane definitely has a better all-round game and better passing game, denying that just makes you sound like an idiot.

You obviously are one of these creeps on here who loves Lewy and will talk up everything about him while he embarrasses himself with his awful performances.

Try not to tell others they don't watch him, or are wrong, or don't pay attention, you scyophantic, condescending little prick. I understand football much more than you, have played much more than you, am no doubt far better at football than you, and can process what I see far better than you can.

Where are all these decisive CL games? With his one CL trophy, which was in the COVID season.

Don't quote me or reply to me. I am putting you on ignore and will not respond. No issue with you disagreeing but your condescension (due to blind, patriotic, deluded love for this guy) pisses me off. Cunt.

I can't quote and answer whomever and whatever I want, I don't think you're a mod here.

You said he never had brain cells to weigh a pass, and that it has nothing to do with decline. For me that's 0 understanding of football, I don't care how much you play it, you could be playing for RM now and that wouldn't make you any less wrong.

That's all I said, that you're wrong, and it's straight to insults. Sycophantic, condescending, little prick? That's usually an indicator of a debate lost, before it even started. I'd say you're primitive but you're actually not, hysterical is a better word to describe your behaviour. I'm sorry that the debates make you so emotional, but it's really not my fault.

As for my obvious fanboyism, Lewandowski disappointed me 10x more than he disappointed you, happens a lot with following football, see Maradona. The reasoning you provide on why he can disappoint is just completely off for me though, that's all.

It's not that his form has disappeared, it's just that outside of scoring, he's never been special or particularly good. His hold up play can be good but it is very erratic and only getting worse at his age. He will cost Barca at some point or moments in future ties, I am almost certain of it.

Nobody said Lewa was never good, that is just a strawman point proving you have no argument.

Pretty amazing Barca manages to play like this with one man less in each game.
I see it the same way. Either Flick is blind, still does not dispute his coach quality, or he is sadomasochist forcing Barca playing 10 men all the time. How could this team would be with a good striker in the team. I can’t wait to see this flop gone in no matter way.

He could probably still have a positive impact in the KO rounds or at least not be this terrible, but Flick will seriously need to limit his minutes. He cannot play two games in one week.

Keep it at 90 minutes every 10 days.

Which itself is an issue due to the lack of attacking depth we have and with the league race so close.

Every sign is screaming sign his replacement this summer, but various circumstances might prevent it from happening.

90 minutes every 10 days is exaggerating it. I would say 110 minutes every 2 games is more about it. Players like to keep that rhythm no matter how old they are.

He will need to skip that international break too, if is smart enough, especially considering the opponents (Lithuania then Malta).

I don't see us signing a direct replacement for him this summer, although I can see us getting a winger and moving Raphinha in the middle like Dembele with PSG
