9 - Samuel Eto'o

Fourteen

Monster Masch
It's always been the case that he more often than not, needs 3 or 4 chances to scored 1. And (rarel) in good periods he'll score from all of his chances. He definitely doesn't get as many chances fall on his lap as he would playing with the likes of Xavi, Iniest and Messi. It's the main reason I felt David Villa would come here and absolutely destroy everyone and to be fair Ibrahimovic had been fairly clinical up until recently. Hopefully he'll come back from his suspension, fix up and get plenty of chances.

As for Eto'o he'll always be great and i'm sure a period will come where he won't be missing the majority of his chances.

Some people keep missing out on the single thing that matters. And more often than not pointing out on his below par record at Inter to make Ibra look better.
Thing is, Eto may score 0 for Inter but he was still great for Barca. There is nothing that can dispute his record nor his achievements here.
And yes, he wanted to stay here. And no. He wasn't a greedy fuck. He was offered a new contract through sms? without any improvement while almost all Barca players got better wages. And this is a year after he was told to feck off from Barca. Go figure.
And just to put it in perspective, Ibra broke the wages record after 0 seasons spent here so before we shout mercenary let's looks at it objectively.
Eto is a Barca legend. Period. If for nothing then just because of his 2 CL final decisive goals and "Madrid cabron.."

Samuel Eto'o's goal versus ManU was easily among my most fanatical moments as a sports fan. :champions: The next closest was Magic's baby sky hook over the Celtics in Game 4 of the 87-88 finals. Pete Sampras' win at the 96 US Open against Corretja deserves honorable mention too.

Hope Samu returns to scoring form and continues contributing to Inter.
