My favourite Barca player along with Rivaldo & Messi. Should NEVER have been pushed out. others have struggled to replace what he brought.

Former Barcelona player Samuel Eto'o has dropped a 3M claim against the club related to his transfer to Inter Milan in 2009

wtf is this shit????

because he did not ask for a transfer to Inter, he was entitled to a percentage of the transfer fee I believe. I think that is what the whole lawsuit was about.

Maybe now that he's 2nd best paid player in the world, he doesn't care about it anymore and dropped the lawsuit.

it was always mostly an issue of principle; etoo felt cheated (and rightly so) by barcelona, and wanted to exact his pound of flesh. its not like etoo was really fretting over 3 or 5 million euros... he was rich before he left barca and definitely is still so today, maybe even more!

Eto'o: "I dont regret going to Anzhi, especially when I see where the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo play."

I got this off a Bulgarian website, I translated it literally, if there are some differences its their fault ;)

Has a good point. What has Ronaldo won that's better with Real than Eto'o since he left Barca?
Eto - another Champions League + Italian champion. Ronaldo 1 broken Copa.

tbh, it was silly of us to sell him for Ibra. He was playing well and was linking up with Messi well. He could also play on the right wing as he showed with Inter, so it wasn't like we weren't going to get the best of him if we switched him to that position. He is better than Villa at that time though Pep thought it was best to sell him and thats that!

Speculation in Italy that the player is no longer settled with Anzhi and a return to Italy or Spain is weighing on the player's mind...A return possible or improbable?

I would love to see him back but there is too much water under the bridge for it to happen. Can't say I'm surprised if he wants to leave though.

Mallorca!
He won it all and then made some big bucks. Only thing that remains is to keep that promise to the islanders.
