Ibra is not even half the finisher Eto'o is; so I don't see how can you bring this point (which I agree with) against him, especially in comparison to Ibra. IMO Ibra can add more to the team than Eto'o would, but we still need a pure finisher in the mold of Eto'o/Villa to truly capitalize on Ibra's brilliance & the teams gargantuan capacity at creating scoring chances. That's why K9 should never be loaned out IMO.

Thank you samu. I have nothing more to say. Thank you.
Don't be lazy maz :D

I've sorta been waiting for this whole thing to get over so I could hear your opinion on it. I know you really liked Eto'o (so did I but not as much as you) and you know more or less why he had to go, so I hope you write a bigass post describing your whole view of the situation.

It'll give alot of perspective to everyone.

We have Messi and Henry who are both more than capable of making fantastic finishes. Ibra might not(or he might) score as much as Eto'o, but he will make up for it with alot more assists for Messi, Henry, Xavi and Iniesta.

I concur, your Review Of The Season was a fucking great read.

Barçapocalypse NOW!
Sad to see Samu go... It's weird how two completely different people like Eto'o and Sylvinho can inspire the same feeling... Best of luck in Milan to Samu (except when he plays against us, hahahahaha)...

Did you even see how many sitters Eto'o missed last season? And don't forget how many goals Ibra has scored with far lesser teams than Barcelona. 25 in 35 last season with that crappy Inter-midfield behind him.

Nevertheless: Eto'o is a true FCB hero and legend, and he will be missed.

I suppose I have to remove the "9" in front of his name.
Goodbye Eto and thanx for all the goals and passion you brought to Barca

Pretty sure you are correct although I expect Ibra to score a bagfull of goals - after all he scores 25 last year and he should get twice as many chances with Barca.

Thank you for everything Samu, true FCB legend.

Sure he had his lows, but the highs far outweigh them. He was the first line of defence, non-stop harrying of the opposition's defenders...Brilliant.

All the best in Milan, I'm sure you will continue your impressive record.

Welcome Ibra, you have big shoes to fill...
