9 - Samuel Eto'o

Inter Milan's style of play is totally different from ours; they rely primarily on Stankovic and Cambiasso for creativity without them they are pretty lost.
Whereas barcas have more options virtually every player on the pitch has the capacity to be creative and feed Messi Henry and Eto'o. Ibra had to do a lot more in terms of coming back and picking up the ball himself and leading Inter's attack, if his teams mates where not coming up with the goods he would carry them through.
He won't have to do that at barca because Xavi and Iniesta and Yaya will do that for him. The only thing he will have to adapt to is the barca style of play (and the language, which should not be a problem because he speaks Italian) which means retrieving the ball when lost and dropping back every now and then.

Ibra will be great in La Liga, after all there is no harder league to adapt than the Italian league, if you can play there and be top scorer then you can play anywhere.

Welcome Ibra, :2145960713mundoemot

:fool: did you hit your head or something? Time for the hospital :stretcher:

I think he's quite right, Eto'o is just a striker he will not solve Inters creativity problems. With Mancini and Quaresma as useless as ever, inter I feel still need some creative influence from somewhere.

They are Italian champions. It`s pretty rich saying they have no creativity. I mean with who are we comparing them with? If you take FC Barcelona as your metric system then no team can compare.

Actually, that was one of Inters major problem last season their lack of creativity in the midfield it was as though when Stankovic and Cambiasso where miss firing so were Inter.
They were well criticized last season for their lack of entertainment and flair, maybe in that sense I am comparing them to barca. I guess it’s all about getting the result not playing nice football.
The thing is, the lack of creativity is even more evident when they play in the Champions league, not being able to get past the quarters should be a problem for a team like Inter, who have champions league aspirations.

Eto'o is always a man on a mission.. the club preferring Ronaldo,Raul,Morientes..etc had it's effect on his motivation against us..

just hope you don't play Inter in the CL

My thoughts exactly  Samu will score.
At least, like you, he;s going to "my team" in Italy so i'll still follow him with positivity.

Actually, it's their own fan's view they have 0 creativity other than Maicon and Ibra  That's why they so desperately want to spend the cash on Cassano, they think it's pointless having the best strike partnership in Italy with no-one to provide for them. They really were very Ibra-dependent, at least in an attacking view, for a good 2-3 seasons now. I always followed Inter but it's really interesting going quite in-depth into forzainterforums, I'm learning a lot.

Not making any predictions til Inter's signings are done and I have some idea of how competent Ciro is as a coach.

He's just one of those players. He will score. Could be from 45 yards or bundled in off his hip or something, but he'll do it.

When your right backs the one creating everything something should click in your head and tell you you’ve got a problem.:banghead:

Has anybody seen Zlatans official twit, its excellent.

but Ibra won't; he will add a lot more to the team than what Eto'o or Villa could've possibly contributed, but he will never be the predatory scoring machine that Eto'o & Villa are. That's why if we really want to capitalize on the team's creativity & Ibra's bonus contribution; materialize it to it's full potential. We need to have that killer striker to complete the trident with Messi & Ibra. K9 will do the job, maybe not immediately, but eventually he can provide what we're currently lacking if he can fulfill his potential. So IMO it would be a mistake loaning him this season; when he could prove to be a crucial element in our bid to retain our treble winnings.

Can we have one page on this thread where no one criticizes samu, he’s done so much for this club and it would be nice if we had one page for only nice comments and memories.
