If Carrasco come to Barca, then Abde definitely needs to be on loan again.

Carrasco is a 30 y/o career done player, he is a nobody at this point and the only reason we might be interested in him is because we are bankrupt and he is cheap.

If Carrasco comes, then it's obvious Abde won't have much game time so I'd rather Abde goes on loan if Carrasco comes.
If it an option of Abde or Carrasco, I would actually take Carrasco for a season and continue Abde's loan with Osasuna (EL next season) or sell him with a buyback clause if a German club are interested.
Abde is having his breakthrough this season and I wouldn't want to stop that growth by coming back, while I wouldn't also wouldn't want to outright sell him without options as his growth curve from us signing him from Hercules to right now has been huge. But yet he is still way off our first 11 and consistency here will be an issue imo.
Admittedly, would want someone better than Carrasco who in itself is a bit of lazy scouting, but he does fit the mold of a Xavi wideman and would probably do OK here.
And to comment on todays goal. Lovely taken winning strike.

Honestly, it is a case of the best for the player, isn't the best for his club.
Right now the best thing for him is to continue where he is, in a successful team with good coach (generally , and for him specifically) and not stun his growth.
OTOH, club is in need of LW, and money. A loan for a player of his value makes no sense for us, hurt us badly in short term as we need money , either from his sale or from sale of LW options.
In such case, financial aspect are most likely prevailing.

I said selling him or other LW options. So either bringing him back when he isn't ready to be starter here, or selling him for money.
