Interesting decision but can Seedorf handle a huge rebuilding job? I'd have preferred Prandelli for that task but I hope Milan don't regret it. I hope Seedorf doesn't regret it either.

inb4 Seedorf becomes Milan's Pep.

Gonna be interesting to say the least.

There's not so much similarity to be honest.
No doubt both were great players on the field, but
couching (don't bring up that Messi couch nonsense, I'm fed up with it :) )
is a bit different. Pep had experience, not so much but had some nonetheless.
He brought up Barça B to Segunda division, and after that took the job of couching
the senior side. Seedorf just retired from playing and has no experience.
Hopefully he will be successful.

He signed D.Alves and Pique. Sold Deco and Ronaldinho

Two great signings in. Apart from that, he simply promoted Busquests and you went on to win everything.

Yeah, them three had their parts to play. But the key element was already there, Messi, Iniesta, Xavi.

I'm really rooting for Seedorf, Milan are an admirable club with a lot of history and it'd be good to see them rise to another era of success. He has a lot of dead wood to get rid of and needs to approach this as a total rebuild, not just a continuation with the hope of "gradual improvement".
