If Rabiot replaces either Rakitic or Vidal it's fine, keeping both + Rabiot + Arthur would mean we can't sign another midfielder (De Jong).

Yea, but I think Vidal is too much for him. There was always a possibility that Vidal's testosterone level would prove to be impossible for Valverde to handle. It's much lower in Rabiot.

Ibra wasn't worth handling. Pep's mistake was signing him in the first place. Ibra couldn't swallow his pride for the sake of the team either. There's a reason why he's never even gotten close to winning a CL.

For a supposed winner he was he sure as hell stinks it up in the CL when it matters the most and did so vs Inter.

What's concerning is that, from the reports, this guy already declined about 10m/year from PSG. Now imagine his wages if he comes here for free. Hell, knowing our absolute bird brains in the board, he could end up being our third best paid player after Messi and Suarez. Not to mention the signing bonus players free of contract usually sign. Coupled with his diva attitude this could bite us in the ass really hard as we already have problems with our wage structure.

Ibrahimovic is the most overrated player in the last decade. We won CL with Eto'o a year before Ibra came. Then we trade Eto'o + a boatload of money for him and what happens? They replace him with Milito and win the CL. The next year we ditch him, sign Villa and complete the best team of all time. How the hell he escaped scrutiny for those years is beyond me. Also, PSG played better in 10 men against Chelsea after he was sent off a few years ago.

I agree. For a player of his quality for free is not bad. But the off field drama (his mother, his attitude, causing bad teamwork, wages), being the obstacle to the development of the likes of alena and discourage young players like De Jong from joining us because of our many players in midfield, he's not worth it for me.
