I thought a bump was in order after Botia's good display vs. Barca. He was probably one of the best players on the pitch.

@barcastuff

Barcelona are considering to buy back Sporting Gijon defender Alberto Botia (22) for 2M and sell him to an EPL club for 5-6M [sport]

What the hell!?

Now please say we are not thinking in the lines of ruining a player's career just to make a few bucks out of him! And that it's just a silly rumor, while actually the club is planning to buy him back to play him along side Pique

I don't quite get the post. You actually think Botia would move anywhere against his will?

Henrique, Keirrison, Chygrinskyi, etc. It's not really easy to say no when the best club comes knocking at your door is it!? Although with Botia, I do think he is intelligent... when he requested the coach to allow him to move on loan for some time to develop really only explains that!!

There was this article in sport about how the transfer planning would be for next summer, which says the club would want to exercise his buy out clause and then sell to an EPL club if there be need to raise funds to sign Cesc... Hope it's not true

I was going to say. The kid always puts in a good performance everytime I see him play.

yeah he really does look a class act.

we'd have to be a bit stupid not to recall this kid (for €3m!) given the age and unknown physical status of Puyi and Bilal.

wouldn't mind seeing us get Botia back and Sakho in, and send Fontás or Bartra out on loan to Sporting so they can work their magic on him too.

I'd send Bartra though. Fontás is too good and too close to the first team to loan imo. We can always loan him in the winter break.

Ya I'd keep Fontas too and loan out Bartra for a season or two. Be great to see Botia back as it wont break the curse of Barca players being loaned

It'd be interesting to see Fontas at Sporting for a while (although I hope he stays). Botia looks a bit more robust and able to play a more limited game whereas Fontas is tailor made for playing at Barcelona.
