 there should be major celebrations if Botia breaks the curse of the loanee. I'd love to see him back at the club, one more La Masia product in and around the squad. With Marquez surely off there will be a space, although there will still be Milito and Chyg.

well milito isn't competition since he's strictly a LCB.

botia's competition is chysus. and I suppose puyol to a degree? I dunno.

I know Botia's been impressive this season but to be honest I haven't really scouted him..is he more of a sweeper or a stopper? It would be nice if he could play next to Pique.

He seems more Albiol-ish and less like Puyol. So, he'd more or less fit into the system. He won't exactly be glove fit with Puyol or Milito in the field, but Albiol-Sergio Ramos (who's Puyol-ish) works.

Anxiously waiting for the next match
how is his touch and passing bc our Cb usually play more passes than anyone per match

I would love for him to come back, but i am beginning to doubt it, i have yet to hear pep comment on his impressive performances, and i could see him relying on chyga and the youth currently at out club next season.

He has a good touch and is passing is ok, not chyga/marquez level, but about as good as the others.

Balague once said that we have a Pique version-2 in Botia... of course it's the same guy who said Ibra has been more crucial than Messi for Barca this season
Well he said that before Messi turned into Superman and Ibra into...whatever the opposite of Superman is.

But Guillem also said that some Premier League clubs are looking at Botia and if we can only offer him the option of being 4th/5th choice...

If at all he had to leave to premier league... I'd like him to go to Stoke City with us having a buy-back option in 3 years. I can see Stoke losing out on Shawcross this summer and that would be a very good learning opportunity for our Botia like Pique did. But this all ONLY IF we can't guarantee him the regular playing time and he seeks another club for the experience
