Yeah, this is a nice read although you only get a fraction of what he went through...I always enjoy these stories for footballers making it at a big club, particularly for a local one as well...It reflects a high character personality, a player that won't shirk from his responsibilities or shortchange on effort - you can never have enough of these players on your team

It makes you think, though, how come a player that until recently wasn't good enough for the Segunda is now good enough for the reigning European and Spanish champions. Yet we give guys like Montoya and Bartra so much shit.
