If i remember correctly Carjaval started and got injured during the second half. My brother (RM fan) almost cried when he saw Danilo coming in. Danilo was horrible against Wolfsburg, if Draxler didn't got injured he would have destroyed RM right wing even more.

Vidal did play RB for Sevilla and played most of his best games for them there.

Pretty sure he started as a winger for them. I only remeber him playing RB for them in like May last year. Certainly did not start there for them when signing from Almeria.

He's not. He played more as a rw for Sevilla. In November 2014, he was still a rw, and according to Vidal himself, he didn't want to play as rb. He ended up playing there by emery, an experiment that might have worked sometimes for Sevilla. But he can't defend, because that's not his primary position. Not all players adapt well, even more for Barça. Bad scouting and/or an election signing.

He played RW - a classical winger in 4-2-3-1 formation. He almost never played as RB. RW is his natural position and he's actually quite good at it.
