So frustrating to watch his second half, many times he doesnt use his energy when he has ball at his feet.
Think of Di Maria who grinds, bites and constantly tries.

another good game

think he would get plenty of playing time in our current state

If you check posts from this page, you can see how individual highlights video can be misleading.
You can't see what a player does off the ball, how he defends, general workrate and 1000s of other things over 90 minutes.
You can see only some nice dribbles, passes and attacking actions.

Watching a full match and highlights can be often like night and day.

Watched the full match and he was easily one of their better players if not the best.

Not every player in a team needs to defend like a maniac. Most teams have more creative players that are given more license on that. At Barca Messi certainly does as do Suarez and Neymar at times.

Sure, but who the hell cares atm. What's interesting is his potential and how well and quickly he is adjusting his game to La Liga. He creates attacks out of nothing, something Rafinha only did half has good at Celta and haven't done at all at Barca. He needs a lot of rounding of the edges but barring Oliver Torres, I could easily see Halilovic being the best young player in La Liga by the end of the season.

I was also disappointed at his lack of movement off the ball but maybe it was his role. Played supporting forward today.

His development so far is very encouraging. Keep it up Alen!

Didn't expect him to perform this well so soon

Oliver Torres will probably get benched soon if he keeps performing like he has done so far.

He was bad against Villarreal, bad against us, bad against Getafe. No, he has not been amazing so far. He has been underwhelming and Atletico are clearly weakened with him instead of Arda.

I was not impressed by Oliver Torres' performance at Porto. Returning to Madrid does not make him better automatically so I'm not surprised.
