Yeah, his motion is very Messi-like, how he releases the ball off his foot, his center of gravity. I wouldn't be surprised if Alen has been greatly influenced by Messi and studied his technique.

Is he in the first team squad ? If not , why not ?? I prefer him to Pedro to be honest .

 C'mon, you can see all the mistakes he makes in that video, not to mention playing in a crap league. He's quality, obviously, but needs time to develop. We'll see him in the first team soon enough.

He's the first person I've seen where the comparisons to Messi are actually warranted. Main difference I see (Comparing messi of a like age) though, is Messi has more speed.

He can really make profit of training with Messi. He's a like a smaller copy of Leo.

That "crap" league has given far more world class players then US "soccer" league ever did and when you just consider that it comes out of the country with just ~4 million it's even more impressive.
With that in mind, he shows greater talent then Modric when he was his age and that Modric ended up as one of the most important players i Real Madrid. So yes, Halilovic does hold great talent and with hard work he will fit Barca like a hand into a glove.

The way he dribbles is just almost exactly like Messi.

Similar? Yes, but lacks that magnet like foot control and step frequency with ball very close to the feets....and doesn't have that strong accurate finish in tight spaces.

Well, that's not a high bar. And why do you bring up the MLS (another crap league)? My point is that any player coming to a tougher league will take time to learn how to play against better defending. Neymar is still adapting from Brazil.

Totally agree (as well as countries like Netherlands, Belgium, and especially Uruguay)

Totally agree. Natural talent, great prospect.
