The Song and van Persie combo was amazing during their last season at Arsenal. GOLAZOS galore.

Song is not a holding midfielder, he's better at pressing and getting around the pitch to support his teammates. He doesn't suit a disciplined role.

The Premier League suited him perfectly. I would love for United to sign him to partner Carrick. They would compliment each other really well.

Arsenal still needs depth, ManCity are really trying hard to get rid of Garcia. . . . Huge disappointment of a player he turned out to be.

He was a terrible, horrible signing by Tito and Zubi. For the role he plays, Thiago could've been dm when Busi needed rest, without song's high wages. If I could, I'd sell him now in the winter.

Well, we need a backup for Busquets. Also, having 2 DMs allows us to use a double pivot at times, and having tactical variety is always nice. Subbing on Song to see out the game with a double pivot worked well against Madrid, for instance.

If we sell Song, I hope we get someone to replace him. Or better yet, get a CB and move Masch back to DM. He didn't do too well there under Pep, but now... who knows...

I agree he wasn't the best signing though. His wages and transfer fee are too high for a backup.

If Song leaves it'll be Yaya all over again, he'll boss it in another team and we'll realise how badly we used him. Why don't we simply start playing him in his correct position, he is a very good squad player; we just bought him for the wrong reasons.
