One of those facepalm Zubi transfers, we can get Thiago Silva and finally replace Puyol and chase trophies again.
But no get Song cause he can play 2 positions...

In the end I will remember him for that Trophy celebration fail.

Us chasing T Silva like idiots is the reason they decided to sign Song in the end.

That's true, but as usual these guys were lazy as hell.

You I never got that, if you need a player or a job to be done you move at it, like Chelsea did with Pedro, quick and accurate. Not speculate, go on vacations and wait around forever to anounce Puyol as a new transfer.

I really don't understand why couldn't we keep him, if we have no buyer. Our midfield is super thin and does our coaching staff really believe Sergi Roberto is better than Song?

Song is a DM, and at DM Roberto is much better.

No he is not. Song is not bad player, he was just worse than Busqets and Mascerano, when he was here. Plus he was misused as CB.

Also he played on more advanced positionlast year in West Ham. He was more like box-to-box mid, than DM. It's stupid to not try him at least.

He's nowhere near Barca quality. I'd rather risk the biscuit with Roberto than torment myself to seeing Song wear blaugrana again, and apparently even the club thinks the same, as Song isn't even being given a spot on the squad despite being on our payroll.

Danger Ahead
Sullivan (co-owner West Ham): "Song is injured now, which is something you've got to weight up. But we've got until 1 September to decide."

Sullivan (co-owner West Ham): "Song couldn't pass medical tomorrow, but if medics say he's only couple of weeks away you'd take that gamble"

Yup we are stuck with him...
