Song, by no means was "horrible" last season.

Don't pay any attention to what that clown David Sullivan has to say.

He was exceptional in the first half of the season, and he tailed off badly in the second half of the season, along with the rest of the team.

If he wasn't injured, then I'm pretty certain that West Ham would have signed him by now, as he would without question, improve the XI.

The fact that West Ham have so many injured players at present, along with Song's massive wages, is making the owners nervous. Think Andy "Sicknote" Carroll!

THAT is the main sticking point.

As I said he was good in first half and poor second half. Which left no clubs really desperate to sign him.

West Ham have already signed him on loan anyway.

Didn't the guy at West Ham says that Song in the first part of the season was possibly the best player they ever signed?

His contract expires in 2017, so as long as he has a good season with West Ham, which is what I expect, then West Ham should sign him on a permanent fee, next summer.

Fom Guardian Transfer deadline day :

David Hytner has a further morsel for us on Alex Song and West Ham:

“Alex Song would have preferred to join West Ham on a permanent, long-term deal but he understands that with his injury as it is at the moment, the club had to err on the side of caution with the loan. After a summer of uncertainly, he is just happy to have his immediate future sorted.”

Yes, it's only us who buy injured players who cant play for a year.

Should have kept him till January as back up to Busquets rather than loan him out. The squad is seriously thin.

Don't think Lucho wanted him, or else he would have atleast been recognized to still be a Barca player instead of being frozen out.

I'm sure we'll see his face quite a lot though. All those using Barca and Barca players for pushing his stupid brand.

It's not a brand, it's a way of life, man.
