Alexis Sanchez

I would not complain about Sanchez's performance. He has improved a lot as compared to last season. Also agreed that he may have scored that goal last season.

Well, everybody keeps it with this entire season, it was the first part of the season which was very good, the first half, he hasn't been the same since the second half of the season started especially from the time Messi got back....

Now he scores simple, lucky or easy goals against weak opponents but the important thing is that he scores. Hope he'll at least assist on the Etihad if he won't score :alexis::aga_fosaro2ble:

The man has some serious pace, but we rarely see it because he's usually holding down the wing. Towards the end of the game, he interchanged a pass with Alves who broke down the wing. His off-ball run into the box was friggin' Usain Bolt pace. Anyone else notice that?

Couldn't get past his marker, made the wrong decision whether to pass to Messi or shoot (so he kinda did ... both), grabbed a 1 on 1 goal (didn't celebrate too much because he knew he didn't have the best of games), was a bit more lively after the opponent gave up but still couldn't dribble past any defender. 6/10 performance.

Will most likely stay on the bench against City. Which is good. He almost always makes an impact from the bench once the game opens up and given his pace advantage against tired legs.

Yea man, i DID notice that... I was wondering if anyone else saw that. It looked ridiculous how fast he was running to that ball.

He played like old Alexis which pissed me off. He has earned my faith in him, but of all the volatile players we have he is definitely most liable to fall back in a pit the quickest. That said, old Alexis would never have buried that clinical 1 v 1.

Similar sentiments...What I love about Alexis is how hard he works but I really have little patience for his inability to stretch the pitch on his flank from time to time

Holy shit, he's reading this forum:

Alexis: "I'm happy with the goals I'm scoring, but I still have to improve my dribbling."

Last season his finishing was atrocious. If next season he improves his dribbling as much as he improved his finishing this season, by my calculations, he should surpass Messi for the Ballon d'Or 2015. :coffee:

I wish someone could post that clip coz I didn't noticed it during the game.

I know u are joking but sanchez could be world class player if his dribbling improved as much as his finishing.

That's insane.

...especially considering that every single one of those goals (and probably the majority of the assists) are pure, dumb luck. Let's hope he keeps on getting lucky for years to come.

Just a question: why is he always "lifting" his shorts on the right thigh?
