Convinced Alexis will be an Arsenal player very soon. He wants 2 play 4 Wenger. And the transfer fee won't be huge. Sound business by AFC
Congratulations Zubi…. we probably sold him for 30m euros.
I bloody hope so. Otherwise, it would be a disaster.
Suarez is a damn fine player tbh. I just find it odd that you're beginning a reconstruction, and yet, you sell your only player whose recent season was a lot better than the previous one. That's bad judgment, selling a player who has exploded in terms of form, executions, confidence, you name it.
But hey, shit happens.
Would've been better to forget about signing Suarez or selling Alexis and just buy 2 world class CBs. Never thought Barca had a problem scoring, only in not having a proper defender. Just sign Hummels and Benatia and be set for a long time. 80 mil for a TINY upgrade on Alexis? Is it really worth it, or is the board just trying to one-up Madrid's signing of Bale?
Not complaining though.
tiny upgrade? k

There are rumours Lucho wants to try Pedro at RBIt's a crazy idea, but I would have liked to keep him as an RB. He'd probably be better than Cuadrado or current Alves. But I don't think he would have liked it
Ajax and Liverpool were built around getting the best out of Suarez. He was their outlet for goals. Suarez will be stifled by Messi and Neymar, and won't be as effective as he was as the main man. Like I said before, Barca has bigger issues to deal with. Replacing Puyol will go a long way towards dominating La Liga again, and the less time is left in the transfer window, the harder it gets to convince other clubs to sell their best defenders.
