If this is done, it is the best transfer Arsenal has made since the signing of Thierry Henry in '99. Alexis is one of the best 5 wingers in the world, only a stupid board would even think of letting him go. But that's spilt milk under the bridge now...
Would be hilariously sad to let Alexis go and not get Suarez. Would be the magnum opus of this ridiculous board. And I view Lucho as part of the board now. Every managerial decision that's been taken since he was named head coach and every decision that will be taken until he's no longer our manager is on him also.

Don't think that's possible. They're selling Alexis because Suarez is a done deal, just pending the cash. Otherwise it'd make no sense.

Suarez is a damn fine player tbh. I just find it odd that you're beginning a reconstruction, and yet, you sell your only player whose recent season was a lot better than the previous one. That's bad judgment, selling a player who has exploded in terms of form, executions, confidence, you name it.
But hey, shit happens.

I won't let go of Alexis either way. Once a fan, always a fan. Except when he plays vs Barcelona. And Arsenal I like, one of the few teams that had the guts to attack us in our prime.
At that moment we'll want Alexis to bring the slip bug to Arsenal
